We were always different.Our familly had to move arround a lot, so we couldn't have a pet of our own.The first pet,a small dog of unknown breed, died tragicly.Few years after,in our large yard,came our first full blooded dog-a siberian husky named Aquilla.He was a multy champion,and loved by all of us.Eaven by the owners of the dogs which he triumphed over. I saw the Bernese mountin dog for the first time on a international show in Novi Sad,and became opsessed with it. I opsessed my familly,too.After carefully planing and references from all kinds of people,which I was meeting in all kinds of dog shows,I found Astra.It's a female which I got from an unknown breeder. No one belived me when I said that it will be a champion.Astra's mother Koselyvolgyi Ursula is a direct descedant of the Switzerland dogs,and she was in the city of Senta,where I found Astra,only by chance.I heard by accident about the owner of the Koselyvolgyi kennel,mr. Peter Ferenc from Hungary.He is a man who gives his utmost attention to the carracter of the dogs in his kennel.It was important for me too, so I didn't go wrong. Everyone who ever met my Astra wants her puppy.She has a lot of moments which will be remembered by the Lukic familly .She's my brother's lucky charm on his fishing trips.Astra is always following us, in shopping, walking and when she's not with us everyone is asking about her.We have a little boy Pavle and he is in her constant guard.She is acting most protective about him, no one can raise a voice on him.The first in long line for Astra's puppies is my sister,who is married and lives in a different place.Astra had an accidente when she was ten months old.She was hit by a car,and we never knew how she got on the street.Luckilly, her leg healed and last year she won the best breeder's group together with her four sons and daughters.She amased everyone with the equation of her litter.Today, beside Astra in our yard is her grand daughter Alka.Alka will be the champion not only in Yugoslavia and near-by countries , but also in Switzeland,the land of orrigins of these wondefull dogs.
