Consulting Professor
Born on January 10th 1968 in Novi Sad (Serbia).
I received
the Diploma degree from the Department of Russian Language and Literature at
the Faculty of Philology,
The
title of my Master of Arts degree Thesis, completed in 1996 is “Words with a
lexicographical remark russism in dictionaries of
contemporary Serbo-Croatian literary language”. A partially revised text of this Theses was published in 1997, as a monograph “Russims in Serbo-Croatian Dictionaries. Principles
of Adaptation. Dictionary.”
The
title of my Ph.D degree Thesis, completed in 2002 and
defended in Summer 2003 is “Russisms
in South Slavic and West Slavic Languages according to the qualifiers in
lexicographical sources".
I have
published seven books, and a lot of papers and articles. My monographs "An
Introduction to Lexical Contact: The Theory of the Adaptation of Russisms
In South and West Slavic Languages" and "The Adaptation Dictionary of
Russisms in South and West Slavic Languages" were published in 2004.
At the moment I am writing on "Contactological Dictionary of Slavic Languages: The
Bulgarian Contactological Dictionary of Adaptation of Contact-Lexemes under
Russian Influence (Vol. 1)“.
I have
attended various international symposiums on Philology, in Belgrade (Serbia), Skopje (Macedonia),
Sofia (Bulgaria), Bratislava (Slovakia), Budapest (Hungary), Bucharest
(Romania), Odessa (Ukraine), Ohrid (Macedonia),
Island of Rab (Croatia), Herceg
Novi (Montenegro), Timisoara (Romania), Porto Carras
(Greece), Opatija (Croatia), Bechichi
(Montenegro), Istanbul (Turkey), Szeged (Hungary) and Constanza
(Romania).
I am a

Linguistics and Russian Internet Resources at the Institut
of Western and Southern Slavic Studies,
I am
currently involved in the project called “Codes of Russian Cultures” at the
Faculty of Philology in Belgrade (2006-2010). Special part of the project is
dedicated to Russian language in contact with other Slavonic and European
languages. Research is will be concerned with following problem: the means of implementing
and restraining of Russian language influence on other Slavonic and European
languages.
My main
research interests are: Contact Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Slavic
Linguistics (especially Russian and Serbian), e-Learning, Internet Resources for
Russian Studies.
